Applications for the annual Suwanee Day parade are now available at www.suwaneeday.com The theme for this year’s parade is “A Day in the Park.” All parade participants are requested to decorate their floats/parade entries in conjunction with this theme.
The 2007 Suwanee Day festival will be celebrated Saturday, September 15. The parade kicks off the festival at 10 a.m.
Parade participants will be judged in three categories: Best in Show, Most Creative, and Best Reflection of Theme. Awards in each category will be presented, and the winners will be recognized during the festival. Get creative and have fun!
Parade entries are subject to approval by the Suwanee Day planning committee. Parade applications are due by Friday, August 24. You may download a parade application as well as permission forms for participants who are under age 18 at www.suwaneeday.com/parade.
