Hot New Local Irish Sports Pub Preps for St. Patrick’s Day with Five-Day Celebration in Suwanee
March 3, Suwanee – The folks at O’Dwyer’s Irish Sports Pub in Suwanee invite their neighbors from all over Gwinnett County and beyond to join them for their first annual “Paint the Town GREEN Party”. Located at 3890 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, right next door to Suwanee’s Town Center Park – O’Dwyer’s is the hottest thing to happen to Suwanee’s restaurant and bar scene in years. The St. Patrick’s Day-themed festivities at O’Dwyer’s Irish Sports Pub begin at start of business Friday, March 13 and don’t end until the wee hours of the morning on Wednesday, March 18. Charlene Linkowski, a Boston native and Irish descendent, is happy to share this fun Irish twist on the sports bar concept with the citizens of Gwinnett. “O’Dwyer is a family name - and my grandfather loved a good time and a GREAT cocktail,” laughs Charlene. “I know he’s smiling down from Heaven knowing that we offer full bar and 20 beers on tap in his name.” The red-headed Irish lass is particularly excited about this St. Patrick’s Day. “St. Pat’s has always been one of my favorite holidays,” insists Charlene, “and I can’t wait to introduce our new restaurant to the folks of Suwanee and Gwinnett on a weekend when EVERYBODY’S Irish! It’s going to be so much fun.” If the friendly staff, comfortable booth seating, pool tables, game room, darts and 40 HD, wide screen & plasma TVs weren’t already draw enough to Suwanee’s very own Irish pub, add to the mix an amazing menu with authentic Irish dishes and full bar with 20 beers on tap for a truly winning combination. The green beer will be flowing freely all weekend long, and the pub will be rocking when live bands take the stage. The musical line-up includes the likes of Mickle-A-Do on Saturday at 7 pm and Hank Bird on St. Patrick’s Night. Food specials include O’Dwyer’s Hefty Corned Beef & Fries for $7.95 – a sandwich so big it takes two hands to hold. Drink specials include O’Dwyer’s Pub Brew Pitchers for $6.00 and 20 ounce Guinness for $5.00.
